Inflact Review of the Instagram Viewer That Replaced Its Bot

Bottom Line: Inflact stopped selling its Instagram growth bot in 2026 and now offers a viewer and downloader for public profiles that needs no Instagram login. Its free tier allows one profile and two downloads a day, capped at 10 downloads a month, and paid plans run from $7.80 to $59 a month. One month of the cheapest plan is worth it to back up a public profile, but read the no-refund terms before you pay.

This Inflact review starts with a post Inflact published about its own old product. On July 21, 2026, Inflact, formerly Ingramer, wrote that Instagram bots “actively damage your account” and that bot tactics “would get your profile banned after just 48 hours.”

The pages that used to sell its bot now forward to that post, and Inflact now sells a no-login viewer and downloader for public Instagram profiles.

Paid plans run from $7.80 a month for one tool to $59 a month for everything, and the $3 trial renews on its own. What bothers me most is a line Inflact never deleted: its Terms of Service still say “We require your Instagram username and password.”

Near the end, I cover the one job where Inflact earns its fee, which is saving your own photos while a hacked account is still public.

Inflact Review of the Instagram Viewer That Replaced Its Bot

What Do Inflact Reviews on Trustpilot and Capterra Say?

Inflact reviews look strong at a glance, with a 4.0 TrustScore from 657 Trustpilot reviews, but only 27 of those reviews are from the last 12 months.

Most of the score rates the old Ingramer growth bot, not the viewer and downloader Inflact sells now.

Rating site Score Total reviews Recent reviews
Trustpilot 4.0 657 27 in the last 12 months
Capterra 3.8 10 1 from 2025 or 2026

On Trustpilot, 78% of the 657 reviews are five stars and 10% are one star. Trustpilot adds its own note to the page: “This company hasn’t invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative.”

Older Ingramer reviews are merged in, including a 2021 complaint that the bot kept getting “stuck in ‘safe’ mode” and could not follow and unfollow at a good rate.

Fifteen of the 20 newest reviews, from January to August 2026, are five stars, and several are just a name or one word. A June 2026 four-star review calls Inflact “a very effective tool for archiving profiles” with “intermittent tech hiccups.” A June 2026 one-star review says the promised “2 free downloads” turned into “0 free downloads” once the reviewer created an account.

Capterra has even less to go on. Its Inflact page shows 3.8 from just 10 reviews, and its only review from 2025 or 2026 is a July 2025 report of account damage from the old Promo bot.

A 4.0 built mostly on reviews of a retired product carries little weight with me, so read the newest Trustpilot page instead of the score before you pay.

Is Inflact Still an Instagram Growth Bot?

No. Inflact stopped selling its Instagram growth bot in mid-2026, and its current tools view and download public profiles without following, liking or messaging anyone for you.

Timeline of Inflact dropping its growth bot

The bot ran for years. In January 2022 the homepage title read “Voted #1 Instagram bot & social media marketing tools.” As late as January 2026, the homepage still linked “Promo,” the automated growth module, and featured a Promo tutorial dated December 26, 2025.

The end came in mid-2026. Archived copies show the Promo page still live on June 18, 2026, and the Direct messenger page still live on July 18, 2026. Today both addresses forward to the July 21 post titled “Instagram bots are dead: why UGC content is the future of Instagram growth,” where UGC means user-generated content.

Here is what Inflact sells now:

  • Profile Viewer: posts, stories, reels and highlights from public accounts, with no Instagram login.
  • Downloader: photos, videos, reels, stories, highlights and profile pictures, one at a time or a whole profile.
  • Profile Analyzer and Tracker: average likes, average comments and top hashtags for any public account.
  • Influencer search: creators filtered by keyword, location, follower count and engagement rate.
  • Hashtag Generator and Fonts: caption helpers, with five free hashtag searches.

Everything on that list covers Instagram only, and there is no TikTok tool anywhere on the site. Plenty of Inflact reviews online still describe the Promo, Direct and Posting modules as current features.

My read is that Inflact made the right call years late, and any review promising you followers from Inflact is describing a product that is gone.

Does the Inflact Instagram Viewer Work?

Yes, on public accounts. The Inflact Instagram viewer loads a public profile without any Instagram login, but the free tier stops after one full profile a day.

In mid-October 2026, typing natgeo into Inflact’s viewer loads National Geographic’s profile in about 15 seconds.

The page shows the bio, 268 million followers, the six newest posts with their like and comment counts, an average of 83.4K likes per post and the top hashtags. The free counter then reads “profiles 0/1.”

A second account on the same day gets a different screen. NASA’s header, follower count and highlight names still appear. The posts and stories are replaced by “You have reached the limit for free profile views” and an offer of “Full features for only $7.8 per month.”

Inflact’s own instructions say the search box takes a username with or without the @, or a full profile link:

natgeo
@natgeo
https://www.instagram.com/natgeo/

Reliability is the weak spot, even though Inflact’s page says the viewer “Always works.” The OSINT Tools Library, a directory of open-source research tools, says stories and reels access “may be restricted or inconsistent,” and Inflact could not find one of the library’s own profiles.

One free profile a day is the limit I would plan around, so pick the account that matters before you start clicking.

Can Someone See That You Viewed Them Through Inflact?

No. Inflact fetches the content through its own proxies, so your Instagram account never makes the request and your name cannot appear in anyone’s story viewer list.

Inflact’s viewer page says “your view will not appear in the viewer list,” and the logic holds because Instagram records story views by account.

Instagram never shows profile visitors in the first place, as this guide to profile views explains, so the list that matters is the one on stories.

Can Inflact Show a Private Instagram Account?

No. Inflact says plainly that “Private profiles cannot be accessed,” and a tool that works without logging in has no way past Instagram’s privacy setting.

Seeing a private account takes an approved follow from its owner, as Inflact’s own FAQ says. Skip any site that promises private-account viewing, because it is selling something Instagram’s privacy setting blocks.

How Much Does Inflact Cost?

Inflact costs nothing for the limited free tier, $7.80 a month for one unlimited tool, $34 a month for Research and $59 a month for Pro.

Yearly billing brings Research to $285.60 and Pro to $495.60.

For a solo creator, the $7.80 tier is the only plan most jobs need, since it unlocks the viewer or the downloader without the influencer database. I would buy one month of it and cancel before it renews.

Plan Price What you get Who it fits
Free $0 1 full profile a day in the viewer, 2 downloads a day, 5 hashtag searches, unlimited profile-analyzer lookups, original quality A one-off look at one account
Premium (one tool) From $7.80 a month Unlimited views or downloads in that tool; the downloader’s $7.80 tier covers 1 full-profile download, and 3 cost $19 One backup job or a short research sprint
Research $34 a month or $285.60 a year Unlimited search, viewer and downloader, 3 tracked profiles, 3 full-profile downloads, 1GB cloud, bulk download Brands and agencies vetting creators
Pro $59 a month or $495.60 a year Research plus 10 tracked profiles, 10 full-profile downloads, 5GB cloud, private chat support Teams tracking many creators

The $3 trial lasts 7 days and only covers Research and Pro, and it rolls into a monthly subscription unless you cancel. If you pick a Custom package instead, meaning a tool set you choose yourself, Inflact charges the full price right away, according to its pricing page.

That same pricing page contradicts itself. Its plan cards say $34 and $59, while its FAQ says Research costs “just $22.00/month” and Pro “$79.00/month.” Trust the number on the checkout screen, and take a screenshot of it.

What Can You Do on Inflact for Free?

Inflact’s free tier gives you one full profile a day in the viewer, seven content views a day, two downloads a day, five hashtag searches and unlimited profile-analyzer lookups. Inflact also sets a total limit of seven profiles and caps free downloads at 10 a month.

The viewer page lists the profile limit as “1 per day (7 total limit),” so the free tier works as a sampler.

The downloader page promises original quality with no watermarks on those two daily downloads, and Inflact said in its reply to a February 2026 Trustpilot review that ads help pay for the free tools.

The limits also shift depending on where you look. In a June 2026 reply on Trustpilot, Inflact said the free plan allows “three free downloads per day, with a total limit of 10 monthly attempts.” Its own downloader FAQ says two a day, with the same cap of 10 a month.

Can You Get a Refund From Inflact?

Probably not. Inflact’s Terms make payments for the Instagram Downloader, Stories Saver and Hashtag Generator non-refundable, and its checkout asks you to waive your right to withdraw.

The separate refund policy wants requests within 30 days of payment and reserves the right to decline them. It also says Inflact may offer extra days or a switch to another tool instead of money back.

To cancel, follow the steps from Inflact’s FAQ:

  1. Open your Inflact Profile.
  2. Go to My Plan, then Manage Plan.
  3. Click Unsubscribe and confirm.

Your paid days keep running after you cancel, so cancel the same day you subscribe if you only need one month.

Is Inflact Safe for Your Instagram Account?

Inflact’s viewer and downloader never ask for your Instagram login, so using them does not touch your account. The real risk sat in the retired growth bot, and some of it lingers in Terms that still ask for your password.

In a July 22, 2025 review on Capterra, reviewer ORI A., who paid for Meta Verified, says $60 of “Promo + Viewer” triggered “multiple account blocks, profile distortion, and visibility issues.” It happened within 48 hours, “under Safe Mode, with their proxy.”

Instagram then demanded identity verification, and Inflact offered only a $30.90 partial refund.

Inflact’s July 2026 post now says the same thing about its own old method. If an old Inflact or Ingramer bot left you blocked, this action block guide covers how long blocks last and what to do next.

The current viewer page says “We don’t request any of your data.” The Terms of Service still say “We require your Instagram username and password to obtain required information for Instagram API.” They also warn of “a risk of loosing [sic] your Instagram account” and add “We are not to blame if your Instagram account is banned for any reason.”

I never hand an Instagram password to a viewer or downloader, because viewing public posts never needs one. If any Inflact screen asks for yours, close it.

Instagram’s own Terms of Use forbid collecting information “in an automated way without our express permission, regardless of whether such automated access or collection is undertaken while logged-in.” That clause targets whoever runs the collection, which here is Inflact’s servers.

A US federal court ruled in January 2024 that an older version of Meta’s terms did not bar Bright Data, a data company, from scraping public data while logged off. Instagram’s current terms add the logged-in wording quoted above. For you, the account risk starts only when you hand over your login.

Downloading has its own limit. Inflact’s downloader FAQ says “It is not legal to repost or reuse any Instagram post without permission of content owner.” It does allow saving your own content as a backup, or public posts for personal use.

Is Inflact Legit?

Yes. Inflact is run by Wiseway SIA, a company registered in Riga, Latvia, under number 40203255185, and it takes payment through PayPal and CommerceGate.

Those details sit on Inflact’s billing page. Being legit and being good value are separate questions, and the recent one-star reviews on Trustpilot are about free limits and ads.

What Are the Pros and Cons of Inflact?

Inflact’s best feature is that its viewer and downloader work without your Instagram login, and its worst is a set of billing terms that makes most purchases non-refundable.

Pros:

  1. No Instagram login for the viewer or downloader, so your account is never involved.
  2. Inflact promises original-quality downloads with no watermark, even on the free tier.
  3. A full public profile can be saved in one go on the $7.80 tier.
  4. One unlimited tool costs $7.80 a month, far below the $34 Research pack.
  5. The free viewer works without signing up, which is enough for a one-off look.

Cons:

  1. The free tier is tight, at one full profile a day and two downloads a day.
  2. Prices and limits disagree across Inflact’s own pages and replies.
  3. Downloader, Stories Saver and Hashtag Generator payments are non-refundable.
  4. The Terms still carry bot-era clauses about your Instagram password and bans.
  5. It covers Instagram only, with no TikTok tool.
  6. Archived, removed and private posts are never included.

The refund terms are the con I check first on any tool like this, because they turn a $3 trial into a charge that is hard to reverse once it renews.

Can Inflact Save Your Photos If Your Instagram Is Hacked?

Yes, if the hacked account is still public. Inflact’s profile downloader works from your @username alone, while Instagram’s own export needs your password and can take up to 30 days.

Steps to back up a hacked Instagram account

A hacker who changes your password also locks you out of Instagram’s export tool, which asks for the account password and “may take up to 30 days” to email a link. If the hacker deletes posts or switches the account to private, the window closes for any outside downloader too.

This is the one job where I tell creators to pay Inflact. Work through it in this order:

  1. Start recovery first with the hacked account guide, because getting the account back matters more than the backup.
  2. Open Inflact, choose Instagram Downloader, then Profile, and paste your @username.
  3. On the free tier, save your two most important posts today and two more tomorrow.
  4. For everything at once, pay $7.80 for one month of Premium, which adds the full-profile download, then cancel the same day.
  5. Move the files to your own device, since Inflact keeps downloads in its cloud for 30 days.
  6. Once you are back in, request Instagram’s own export for the full record.

The downloader only reaches what is public right now. Archived, removed and private items never come through, and messages stay out of reach.

If the account gets disabled, follow the disabled account guide instead, because a disabled profile has nothing public left to save.

Backup route Inflact profile downloader Instagram’s own export
Needs your password No, only the @username Yes
How long it takes Starts right away, while the profile is public Up to 30 days for the email link
What it saves Public posts, reels, stories and highlights The account information you select in Accounts Center
Cost 2 free downloads a day (10 a month), or $7.80 a month for one full-profile download Free
Works after a hacker changes your password Yes, until the profile goes private No, not until you recover the account

Is Inflact Worth It?

Inflact is worth one month of the $7.80 tier if you need to save or check public Instagram profiles. It is not worth $34 a month for most solo creators, and it no longer grows anyone’s account.

My verdict is narrow on purpose. Inflact does a small set of jobs well, and its price only makes sense for those jobs.

Use it if you are:

  • Backing up your own public profile, hacked or not.
  • Checking a public account without logging in or showing up in its story views.
  • Vetting a creator’s public posts and engagement before a brand deal.

Skip it if you are:

  • Hoping for followers. Growth services like Kicksta still exist, but they log in with your password and carry real account risk.
  • Working mainly on TikTok, since Inflact has no TikTok tools.
  • Trying to see a private account, which no outside viewer can do.

If the backup job fits, open Inflact and choose Instagram Downloader, then Profile. Start on the free tier and upgrade only when the free limits fall short.

Quick Takeaways

  • Inflact stopped selling its Instagram growth bot in mid-2026 and now says bots get accounts banned within 48 hours.
  • The viewer and downloader work on public accounts with no Instagram login, but the free tier allows one profile and two downloads a day, with downloads capped at 10 a month.
  • Paid plans run $7.80 a month for one tool, $34 for Research and $59 for Pro, and downloader payments are non-refundable.
  • Inflact’s Terms still ask for your Instagram password, so never type it into any viewer or downloader.
  • The best use is saving your own photos while a hacked account is still public, then requesting Instagram’s export once you are back in.
